Ok so i decided i was tired of the deer rifle bing black, so i camoed it the other day!! Its a Howa .270 with a synthetic stock and a Bushnell Banner 6-18x60 scope.
this is how it began......
then disassenbled and painted a moss green....
added a layer of brush similar to the area i hunt and painted olive green
one more heavy layer of brush, then black
removed sticks and brush then hit with a light coat of the moss to blend everything just right
bought a bipod and did the same thing....
oh, and look and the stock where ammo sleeve is, i also made a chin rest out of a broom handle to help relieve neck strain when focusing scope
was fun, and the pics dont do it justice....everyone that has seen it swears it came from the factory like that till i show them the pics of me doing it!! hope this helps anyone thinkinf of doing it
forgot to say, but bwefore you put on first coat, make sure you scrub with a scour pad very well and then wipe with a damp cloth to make sure everything is removed from surface.

Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
