Took the kids fishing

Kids are out of school yesterday, and they wanted to fish. Took em all down to the canal near Brawley and did pretty good.

Of course my son got 1st fish. Skunk off......Woooo


Got in to the mini stripers as well. The kids had a blast.



Biggest striper I caught was about 1.5 lb. Got handfull of 12 1/2" bass also. Too bad they have to be 13" to keep in IV



We ended up with decent amount of little striper , lmb, bluegill, and some trout from Wiest Lake.



All and all pretty good day w the kids fishing IV.

And yes I kept some for panko fish fry. Yummm...
