Well ever since mid Feburary I've fished every weekend at lease once. Back in mid Ferurary to end its been WIDE OPEN barracuda for me around the same time every weekend. There was a few trips when you could throw what ever you wanted and hook up. And the best thing about it they were not line shy. I would catch them one day on 65# straight braid the next day come out and get them on 25# test. I would KILL them on the psi spoons and cranks but there was a few times I wanted to see what they would really hit so I threw poppers, buzzbaits, frogs, mouse, and hook up. I really enjoyed the popper fishing. Just watching the barracudas ( and sometimes bass) just come out of the water like a football with the lure in their mouths it was awesome. And the bass and halibut have been biting really good for me lately. If you wanna get out and fish from shore and get on some halibuts let me know and I am pretty confident I can put you on at lease 1 halibut for the day.
