James Nelson and I met up at Dana Landing bright and early headed to the grounds and started fishing. Armed with Surface plugs swimbaits and that unibutter stuff we headed to spot number 1 and it was full speed! 2 yellows for me in 4 casts and barracuda on every other cast just about. If the barracuda didn't get your jig then the calico bass would. James was putting on a clinic with his 6 inch swimbait, and I was persistent with the jig. Both of us were bit every cast for about an hour. Spent the rest of the day picking at bass. Would like to thank James for letting me back seat on the skiff, the laughs, and great company! A great fisherman but one hell of a good guy, Thanks again Buddy!
