SHARK FISHING tournament
Ok so I am looking for feed back on a shark Tournament here in SoCal.
thoughts on this would be much appreciated.
Looking some time in September and it would be for Mako's and T-Sharks, there will be a size limit you can catch and release or bring in. Dana Point looks to be the spot for headquarters, boundaries have not been set nor the final rules. So post thoughts and idea. Thank you in advance

Honestly I have never targeted sharks while fishing, and I don't know how popular shark fishing is so really my input would be pointless haha

hey rock! your opinion is always pointless!!!! sounds like a pretty cool tournament and with the start point being dana they can come up to long beach for there shot at some thresher or down south for there shot at some mako.
men and fish are alike. we both get in trouble when we open our mouths.

OK i am working on this deal guys and gals
big issues to follow, dates of other tournaments and also the details. Launch point is not the issue as much as it is where head quarters is based out of!
I will need some help researching this and getting sponsors and donations. so feel free to help or give ideas.

Well GOOD News and bad news!
Good News is that we will be doing this TOURNAMENT, however we will be waiting about 1 year. Sorry to say and do this how ever after talking with some very influential people and friends; it appears planning, placement and wording are just as important on this subject as promoting it. Shark fishing during marlin season to many tournaments to many other target fish. so here is the deal i am not going to rush this tournament to have a cluster mess on our hands. I would like to make this an event that will go on year after year. so we are thinking July 2015 Dana Point catch measure picture release of sharks or keep points system with bonus fish in the line up.
