Went out on the full day boat San Diego out of Seaforth last week to fish Coronado Island. Got on the boat at 5am and off we go. With 45 guys on the boat I wasn't expecting much from this trip. This was my buddy Travis first deepsea trip so I was determine to make it a good one. Bait receiver only have pinhead chovy so we had to make our own bait, squid was the choice. When we finally made it to the ground there already 10 boat there. Alot of breezer YT running around but they play hard to get. School did come by and gave us couple shot at them. The boat pick up 12 YT and one manage to be my. Totally happy with that. After thing die down I drop down to the bottom and limited out on sculpin and rockfish. Then cudas decide to move in, I made 5 cash with my surface iron and got my limit. Had couple yellow follow my jig to the boat but won't commit. Oh well maybe next time.
