More deer in Coachella Canal.

I forgot to mention this on my fish report. At the same spot I saw two dead dear in the Coachella Canal last time, they were another one floating in the same spot. This one is a young buck. Should of taken a picture of it but wasn't thinking. Should be a good mule deer season for the Chocolate Mountain area this year.

They come out of the Chocolate Mountain to get water in the Coachella Canal. I see it all the time specially at night time while out cat fishing. They ended up falling in and drown.

Watch the water district guy pull this out few years ago. I see one like this out all the time when I was out riding my quad at night.

I'm hoping that with the rains coming in the natural water holes will fill up and the deer won't need to drink from the canal... only bad thing for hunters is that the bucks will be deep in the canyons now.. more hiking to do.. I rather hike and have a chance at a buck than no chance and see them floating... come on November!!

Yea no kiding. Sadly I will be sitting on the side line again. Never had the time and money to get my hunting license, hunter safety course, gun, and camo gear. Too much fishing.....lol

My bro in AZ already got one today, on an archery none the less. Manny Chee is one of the best fisherman / hunter I know.
