Lure Colors this year

OK i have figured out that the darker colors are what they want. i just read a few reports and go darker is what i am understanding. try them both lighter and darker and prove me right or prove me wrong.

Yikes......lol....... No dark women for me. But ifthe sky is cloudy I'll throw some dark colored lure.

Here is a list of what i would try feathers or rapalas
Blue/Black
Purple/Black
Pink/Black
Green/Black
Black
Blue

those are my feather patterns. those are the only colors i fish. if im going for yellowfin i put marauders out. 8 or 9" in either purple or orange. ive gotten bigger yft on those

i am just going off the colors these guys caught fish on locally and what my past experience brings, i know i fished other colors that should have produced a didnt.
all i am saying try these in the spread and see what happens

but yes those colors you mention are typically great ones!

Years ago I was out on a 3/4 day fishing Yellowtail out of Dana Point. I was trolling a rapala cd18 in black n purple, and got my 10 fish limit by noon. That was only trip I caught limit of yellowtail.
