OK i have figured out that the darker colors are what they want. i just read a few reports and go darker is what i am understanding. try them both lighter and darker and prove me right or prove me wrong.
PLEASE and Thank you

I say go dark and not with the women either, i know 1 of you smart asses are going to comment... Big Grin
Yikes......lol....... No dark women for me. But ifthe sky is cloudy I'll throw some dark colored lure.
Like a cup of coffee without cream?
Here is a list of what i would try feathers or rapalas
Blue/Black
Purple/Black
Pink/Black
Green/Black
Black
Blue

Cedar Plug
---Mexican Flag
---Zucchini
---purple/black

those are my feather patterns. those are the only colors i fish. if im going for yellowfin i put marauders out. 8 or 9" in either purple or orange. ive gotten bigger yft on those
i am just going off the colors these guys caught fish on locally and what my past experience brings, i know i fished other colors that should have produced a didnt.
all i am saying try these in the spread and see what happens

but yes those colors you mention are typically great ones!
Years ago I was out on a 3/4 day fishing Yellowtail out of Dana Point. I was trolling a rapala cd18 in black n purple, and got my 10 fish limit by noon. That was only trip I caught limit of yellowtail.
