Loading A Deer Alone
If your solo deer hunt is successful, you’ll find it much easier to load your deer into your truck if you bring a sheet of 3⁄8- or 1⁄2-inch plywood cut to fit in the pickup bed.
*Drop the tailgate.
*Slide one end of the plywood to the ground.
*Roll the deer onto the wood.
*Now you can raise the lower end of the plywood sheet and slide it into the truck using your leg muscles rather than your back.
This reduces the risk of back injury and keeps your clothing cleaner, too.

I've been on many trips, and seen lots of deer, but have yet to bag one, or even get a shot off at one.

and like fishing that is why it is called hunting.
i know the feeling, sometimes i just enjoy the time outside and the scenery

I gave up on deer in this state. I'm gonna focus more on waterfowl until I leave here. I'd rather hunt in a state that has more options, and might actually want you to hunt there.

believe it or not there are a lot of deer ops in cali, more in socal than most think and nor cal is loaded its the trip up there. as well the dang private land blockage. as for the wanting us to hunt yes that is they dont want guns or hunting, however they can not stop us 100%!!!! It really comes down to this "How Bad Do You Want To Hunt"?
