Tubed yesterday around some docks with a couple of buddys and it was some good fishing. I started out throwing some artifishables on a RED warbaits head and kept getting short bit. Then I would switch it up to a big hammer and wouldnt even get bit. Kept switching back and forth to artifishables and big hammers. Finally hooked a spotty on a sexy sara big hammer with a yellow warbaits leadhead. Caught a few more and then they ripped the swimbait up. Put on some new colors and caught a handful of fish. Near the end of the day I was put on a 4" Christmas tree Wham with a yellow warbaits leadhead. Was slow rolling it for some bass and then I decided to hop it. As soon as I hoped it and it hit the bottom I got that ever so familiar halibut bite. So I set the hook and knew it was the right kind. After getting it to the surface I reach for the net and the net gets hooked on a PSI lure I had tied on(Not only do they catch fish, but they catch nets. LOL) so I have my tournament partner kick over to me and he gets his net out and I glided it right inside the net. It was just short of 22"s but still a great way to end the day.
