I have not been able to fish for 2 weeks because of baseball and family inconveniences. It was killing me inside and I was NEEDING to get a cast or two in. Didn't care if I caught anything as long as I could fish for a few. After baseball yesterday I went to some water at the high tide at sunset with a single T&C spotted minnow pattern swimgrub, as well as a bottle of unibutter that I keep in my truck for times just like this. Got to the rocks and got bit first cast but missed it. After about 20 minutes I had 6 small spotted bay bass. Had to leave at this point but left them biting and the fishing was good on small fish. Was just fun to finally get bit after 2 weeks of not being on the water.

Most kids probably sit in thier car, or talk with friends if they are early to school. I am blessed to be able to fish 5 minutes from school! So that is exactly what I did this morning. Had the Leopard frog T&C and my butter bottle and managed 2 spotties at the high this morning before class.
