It wasn't a thief
#1
When one of David Dinsmore's two Yorkies went missing from his backyard in Richardson, Texas, he decided to check his security camera for answers. What he saw in the video shocked him. It wasn't a thief who got his dog, Dakota, but a bobcat.
Footage shows a bobcat leaping off his backyard fence and attacking and killing his dog. The bobcat then took the dog's carcass out of the yard. Had it not been for that video footage, Dinsmore would have never known of the bobcat's attack.
Dinsmore is now afraid to let his other dog, Denali, out of the house.
"At this point, I can't take my dog out in my backyard unless I have her on a leash," Dinsmore said. "So, there's no way I can let her out now until we get this problem solved. I'm being held hostage in my own backyard."
Richardson Animal Control has set out some traps and have caught one bobcat.
