Trip in the making for sure Mikey........

Choodak if you got all those bait in 10 minutes getting em should be easy. I'll come help next time. I think we should do an all day trip then stay late. I like to get some carp for big cut bait. Last fall I got alot of 20+lb fish on big chunk of cut carp. I had one took a 2lb carp head that I can not stop, ran me right in to a tree.
Flathead candy right there.......

Here what I'm thinking.

Start out the day getting talipia for bait.
Hit flathead spot on the way down.
Then fish for carp, bass, striper, and bluegills during afternoon.
Run back to flathead spot for afternoon/sun down bite.
Go to coachella canal for channel catfish.
Finish the night soaking big bait for bigger fish.

Something like that

thats a lot of driving...haha. i think next time down there we need to try and keep the bait alive. we havent tried that yet with you. im not too worried about the dfg guys. those places we're fishing, its so remote and we never see anybody down there. seems like ive been reading that the big boys like the live bait

Live bait is good but it just a pain to keep them live. Carp and bluegills are legal to use live. Live bait like to get them self tangle in snags. Will keep some alive next time. Or we can get feeder goldfish from pet store.
Just a tease.....Haha....
