So I am starting the tri tip, went with a rub called the cowboy rub. How can you go.wrong with that name. Using hickory chips and at 250, we will see how it comes out
Just the cowboy rub and glazed it with sweet baby rays bbq sauce. Smoked for 2.5 hours at 250. Pulled and let rest for 10 minutes. Came out a little on the rarer side but its how I like it. Came out good anf was a big hit with the dinner guests. Thanks for all your guys' pointers
