Goodbye for now PaPa
#1

On Friday November 30th my Grandfather "PaPa" passed away in his sleep. He succumbed to pulmonary fibrosis and fought till the end. He refused to take a breathing tube which would have just prolonged the eventual outcome. Tough and stubborn but loving and emotional man.

This was the man that took me on many of my first adventures. My first time shooting, took my hunters safety course with him when I was 8. Took me on my first pheasant hunt. Taught me to play guitar. Also taught me things like toughness and making something out of nothing. I grew up very close to my PaPa and the only thing I could change is that his financial status not put us do far away from each other.

I will miss him and think of him every time my shotgun goes boom or every time someone gets my temper fired up.

Love you PaPa

JH

sorry to hear that buddy. its always hard to lose someone so close.....but the memory of them always makes those special things yall did together even more special
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
