Ok let me know what you guys think of this two rod? I went to BPS yesterday and check out some swimbait rods. They only have the medium heavy for the Shimano Crucial, I wanted the heavy. The MH got too soft of a tip for my liking. I also look at G-loomis GL2 25-60 swimbait rod. The GL2 has ton of back bone, and is rated for lure 4-10 oz. This is perfect for what I'm looking for throwing big bait. But could this be also use for calicos ??? Help me out here guys......Thanks

Calicos the biggest I've got is 15-30 8ft H for big baits and surface irons. Go 2 rod that I use often is a 12-25 mh 8ft for throwing 3/4 to 1oz. Weedless rod is a 12-20 7 ft and jerk shad 12-25 7 9 mh. Dunno if that helps! I wouldn't settle on a rod at bass pro. Order what you want

G lommis rods are nice but over priced, IMO. the shimano for the money and warranty would be my choice you can get 2 rods Shimano or 1 g loomis

Thanks Mikey and SB. Think I'll stick with the heavy action Shimano Crucial.
