Had a GREAT fishing trip with my Son Tyler and Derek. We left Shelter Island (San Diego) at 8:00 pm and headed off shore. Picked up 1 1/ scoops of very nice deans. Traveled slow through the dark for most of the night. Got a few hours sleep about 35 miles off shore 302 area, as soon as the sun peeked up we started fishing. I wish I would have taken a photo of the sunrise. For those of you who have not seen the Sun rise over the Pacific you have not really experienced a sun rise. We had a fantastic day of fishing, full Mexican limits for each of us. I caught the biggest Tuna so far on my boat over 30 pounds. Ended the day with 15 yellowfin Tuna. Lots of good eats in our future. I slept for 12 hours straight last night.
