When rigging your set before opener, keep in mind that not all birds face the same way when feeding/resting on the water. I always rig 2-3 (per dozen) backward to give a more realistic and natural apearance to my spread.

that is a very good point, i was told a long time back to always spread the decoys out and look at how the birds are sitting also, try to mimic as much real as possible.

Oat get a lic we have plenty of guns for you to borrow. Nice tip on the Deeks are you guys fans of a lot of them out or a few? I like about 6-12
