I had a great opening weekend. This year myself and a good buddy met up with my cousins in their home town of Yuma Az. Our 1st time dove hunting in Yuma was a great one. The whole town gets in to it from free dove cleaning to free dove cleaning and cooking at a local mexican restaurant named Chretins. one of the local sporting goods store, Sprauges, holds a biggest breast contest in which the winner gets a brand new Bennelli 12 guage. White wing and morning doves only. I was on private land which was nice and away from the chaos of hunters shooting no more than 50 feet awat from each other, Yes that close. Its a overall great experience that everyone must try.

 Limits and limts and limits......... Dove everywhere.

I took a buddy out for his second ever hunt and his first successful trip getting some birds. We set up on a field out in damn near Mexicali and had birds flying most of the morning for some great pass shooting. Mojo was working well and we had birds coming straight to it.

@DVO WARDEN  wait did you say BREAST contest haha, thats sweet was it by weight
And there where people wanting to help clean birds, this sound like a party. yes out of state they group up and get close for shooting, its crazy

the whole deal sounds like fun down there.
