Been awhile but I’m back. We planned a dudes weekend in the desert and my buddy Aaron and I planned a turkey hunt with some canal pheasant the day before. I would recommend woodlands hunt club for some great pheasant hunts but the way. 4 am take of and by 8:30 we are on some young jakes. We both get lucky and boom turkey in freezer. Then we head off to the fields to get binos out and look for pheasant on the roads and canals. Ended up getting 3 and he got 1. I was able to teach how to clean pheasant so it was a good day.
