Well way to much to type today. Will brief it down and let the video tell the rest when I get the footage.
Holy crap... Went the Shelter Island today and brought a friend with us today also. It was a little slow for the first part of fishing but once we got into this one little spot it honestly didn't matter what color swimbait, scent or no scent on it, or even a tail to the swimbait. It was one of those kinds of days. Cast it out there, free spool it til it hits the bottom, turn the handle once and you are hooked up. That was the story for the majority part of today.
We didn't really have alot of big fish today but we sure did make up for that in numbers. For the most part of today SOMEBODY was always hooked up pretty much. We had doubles alot and we even had some triples. It was a trip you just cant forget about.
The best part of today was catching somewhere between 15-20 fish on ONE (1) big hammer swimbait. That swimbait was so chewed up that when I made a cast I got bit missed the bite and the fish took the swimbait right off the leadhead...Yea it was that crazy today.
