Gordo Banks. thats where you want to fish down there. if your able to, spend a little extra money for a full day trip, and you can go to one end of the bank and fish marlin, swordies, wahoo...etc....then go down the bank and find the big tuna later in the day.....then coming back in stop at the local reefs for the big ugly groupers......then go hit the beach for roosters...shit that would be a day and its all accessible within 30-40 miles of the coast.
to fish that bank (which i believe is the most popular spot down there), you'll have to leave out of san jose del cabo, which is only a 20 or 30 minute car ride from cabo san lucas. You actually have to go through san jose del cabo to get to cabo san lucas.
