Blasphemy! Reels are not reels. There are decent reels and there are reels that standout over the rest. Shimano is not the best out there but come on, shimano vs. abu? I dont even think they are in the same category.
men and fish are alike. we both get in trouble when we open our mouths.

Shimano Vs Abu is a true battle and Abu is leading it...
Now give shimano credit where its due. There rod technology has companys like seeker and cal star worried. There insane rodes and specific per reel and per style of fishing.
Shimano conventional reels are good to. My view is that they are over priced, but angelers due buy them so they can justify there cost because there is a demand for them. Penn doesnt have there Torque 2 speed yet, (soon it will be out) which i do hope that turns the market around when they do.
