We went we concurred and we got beat up. Haha both by the fish and the ocean.
I lost a very nice yellow into and around a rock.
As we left the harbor at dana we got a great scoop of bait. Had a little wind chop and swell but 6 miles out paddies and 70 degree water at 530 in the morning. No takers . So we pushed on and stuck to our plan; 267 bound then the Island. We went up by paradise cove area and found a few nice fish.
Then we decided to go look up at the slide. Saw lots of action but cold wind and chop we went back to about where we started and then we had that alarm go off. Well we limped into two harbors. Battery issues and a phone call to Rob at our trusted mercury shop and dealer.
These pics have numbers about 13 miles out of dana....
Well after some trouble shooting and buying 2 batteries. Thank you to the retail wholesale shop and I forgot the guy up at the shops name as well for the help. Now we made it home safe and only broke one rocket launcher off and almost lost a Penn 50. Now the boat goes to Quality Performance Marine.
One more detail and I hope Joe you are reading this I saw a memory from the bd shootout and poor Mike was sitting front row this time. I had no choice off a swell but to punch the next and that wall of water came through even the t-top-top was wet. As well all of us too.
