3/4 day on the Sea Trek

Went out with our CVFHE church group today on a 3/4 day Charter out of Helgren Sportfishing. This was my first time chartering this boat, and I got to say the crew was top notch. Everyone had fun on this trip. Alot of first timer got to experience the so cal deepsea fishing scenes. Fishing was ok too. We caught and release lots of bass, and end up with few keepers up to 5lb. Also put rock fish, bonita, and yellows on the boat. Goodtimes out there......

I lost count how many bass the kids caught. It was as good as it get. Squid hit the water....4..3..2..1.... HOOKUP!!

Looks like you and your kids had a blast. I can't wait until my girl is old enough to hit the water with me. I took my son out a few times and he has fun for an hour or so but he looses interest pretty fast.

My kids loose interest pretty fast too. Just gotta keep hooking fish to keep em happy.
