1/2 day out of Seaforth tomorrow.
#1
I decide to do a 3/4 day deepsea fishing trip tomorrow since it been a while that I fish the ocean. And it is too darn hot to fish for catfish. Call around and all I can find open was 1/2 day trip. So a half day trip it is. I'll be doing the double half day am and pm trip out of Seaforth is any one care to join me. I'll be there at 5am.

If I wasn't so drunk tonight I'd so go
Pictures, water conditions, and a full report bud!! Double half? Well a possible yellow bud! I hear 30 fathoms with squid has been productive around the entire area for a yellow or 2! The water is so flooded with bait fish, squid once again has turned into its name it lives by! CANDY!

I passed out when I got home last night. Got my butt kick by the rough sea. So here the final tally. For morning am trip I caught hands full of short calicos, sheephead, blue pearch, rockfish, whitefish, and top it off w a 5# sandbass. Which ended up winning jackpot. Couple yellow was hook from La Jolla kelp but got eaten by sealion. Them thing stole most of the boat catch as it came to the boat. Weather sucks it was windy, big swell, water cooled off 6° from few days ago, nasty green, current went the wrong way, and the whole nine yard. It was all worth it because I won back my trip money. PM trip sucks even worst. Only 5 tiny rockfish. Both trip half the boat was throwing up....... Still had fun though. And top off w a good seafood dinner before the 3hr drive home.

Here some pics
