Overnight on the Thunderbird.

I have been waiting a long time to go on Thunderbird I finally freed up the funds to fish and it was on. The morning consisted of ground fishing and I limited on whitefish within the first two hours along with a rockfish and a blue bass. The rest of the day we spent looking for yellowtail. I connected with one fish casting jigs at boils but he shook the hook pretty quickly. No yellowtail for me today but I had a great time. This trip is one I have been looking forward too an cpt. Jeff and his crew did not disappoint. One thing I really have to work on is casting my jigs. The other guys casting jigs were casting twice as far.

Nice, yes Jeff runs a tight ship and although the joke around and have fun, nothing short of professional. I bet the new boat is awesome too

sucks you didnt get what you really wanted but did mange to get a hook up. the casting part does get us all its just figuring out the reel and tension etc...
