i am looking at putting a winter local trip together
it will be able to have 5 others to go on a 6 pack. my spot is NUMBER 6.
if we do a full day $80 per person, 1/2 day $50 per person
let me know what your thoughts are, this includes all food and Bait.

Hey that sound like fun. Where you plan on fishing? Where do we meet up? at your place maybe!!!!! Would the new fishing closure effect the spot you are going to fish.....just saying, never run a boat in the ocean before.

i talked to the boat owner and i guess the season for rock fish is closed, didnt realize that. waters to cold and not a lot out there. great.

What the size of this boat? Where is she base at? I'm pretty sure I can put together a group of 5 on the boat, with you as the 6th guys on of course.

If any of you guys are hitting the salt, im in. just tell me who to pay. better off waiting till at least the rock fishing opens back. its too cold for any of the inshore species. unless your fishing breakwalls. I'm sure me and fisherofmen have had some of , if not the best breakwall fishing in the winter.
In my opinion, you really have 2 options. wait till rockfishing is back open, and head out of ventura/oxnard area on a 3/4 or full day boat to get better fish, or once the water warms a little bit fish from san diego and go chase calico's and rockies off either the point, kelps (although i know some of them got closed), or the other millions of rock piles down there. just my 2 cents
