Lets start talkin about makos and the long tails, if any of guys are in to it, lets talk and share fav areas and methods. the season is upon us, and i am 2 weeks away from my 1st knockdown of the season, hopefully.

Ooooo Mikey is so into it! And he has me hooked as well!! Last year him and I got out on a Sunday... We had a late start !! we got on the water chasing DoDo's, come to find out the bait tank stopped and killed bait. We found a paddy with dodos and threw everything we had! Chunks, dead bait, plastics, hard baits and nothing. We called it off and trolled him. Mikey noticed a movement on the rod and check, sure enough the fighting belt was on... This was my first time seeing this. And at one point it was 10-15 ft under us full color. We are getting ready to get him on board and the hook pulled. So bummed cause it was so close and more of a bummer the hook didn't pull the O ring split. I'm ready for redemption and want to land a mako so bad. Mikey's favorite meat as well!!

Yea if I know Mikey has gonna be making some calls and trying to get a few guys together for a trip pretty soon. I can just feel he's getting the itch
