THE TRIP
#1
Thumbs Up
OK
so 1 of our members had a buddy who needed or wanted how ever you look at it some guys to roll out. you know help cover fuel cost.

Lets just say some times this is the best fishing ever and some times its the story you read about. lesson's learned i hope for all involved, i usually stay out of this but when 3 friends feel unconformable, call and txt me then i know something isnt right.

Well this is the story that ended safe and no fish, but a lesson that it was a bad trip and more questions should have been asked by both parties.

i will keep names out of this post!
1. if your going set up a deal with some guys be straight up with them
2. if your going out ask to see the boat first take a survey of it
3. if your taking people ask if they are cool with things... i.e. drink beer, smoking, naked chicks dancing on the boat, (ha ha) thought you all would like that one..
4. set the price and what to bring via both parties
5. Respect each other and what Intel's.
Bottom line always meet in person before hand and see if the personalities work.

NO ONE INVOLVED DID anything to prevent or stop the issue, so at this point its a lesson learned and hope to never hear of this again. from any one that needs help for splitting cost. i am and will not blame anyone here for what happened.

exactly. now lets end this discussion because its gotten out of hand. These guys did not intentionally do all this stuff to piss us off. just really bad circumstances

I kinda wish I was on this trip. It would of ended differently, no way I'm putting my life, my friend life, and my fishing gear under the hands of some drunking high captain. I would of gotten my money back and taken that boat owner to court for putting my life at risk. Put them out of business for good. I might even gain a fishing boat out of it.......nuff said...... This whole thing really pissed me off.

haha we appreciate the support Oat. your a good friend. Maybe im not making a big enough deal out of this, but like i've said a couple times, its a lesson learned and now all we can do is make our friends prepared for what is out there, and to really look out for who we go with.

you know Oat, we said that, but really we saw you on this site for a long time before we met you, and we werent really that worried. I guess a few beers in you really stop caring...haha. But at least talking and seeing posts and how people are on the site we at least had some kind of idea of what it was about. And look, now we're all buddies that love to fish together. Same thing happened with me and mikey. Started as me getting ahold of him to try and sell him my jigs, and a year and a half later we're having a few beers together, ive been to his house a bunch of times, and we talk a few times a week.
