Overall this event was fun. I believe over 3000 was raised for Olive Crest and many gift wishes were purchased by many anglers for the Olive Crest kids. As for fishing the keyword was tough. MitchFish would know more on the results. For 30 boats 1 or 2 teams caught the limit of 3. I believe 4 pounds won the event. As for us and many other boats, we got a DNW. Swba has a 14.25 fish limit and we couldn't get nothing over 13 inches. We continued fishing after the tourney and first fish caught was 15 inches. Only 30 minutes could have changed our luck. We threw everything, I mean everything. Productive bait for me was the 1/2oz warblade by warbaits. It was an absolutely fun day but Newport is a hard place to fish.
