Ok so might have plans to leave out Dana on saturday. But if that falls through we wanna do some freshwater stuff around the areas. Anybody have any good spots for stripers or catfish within an hour drive of LA or north orange County? We were thinking maybe the duct in lancaster but dont even know where to start....Any ideas?
Or mikey, any canals or aqueducts out in your area?

All the spot I know are more then one hour drive from LA. I say DVL for striper, but don't think you like that place too much. Most people been leaving the lake by 11am and it's has been a afternoon bite. A cording to buddy of my fishing there this last week.

Yeah I would say so..... can't go wrong with the canal. I'm down there one a week and know people fishing those water every day. Only bad part is the summer heat. I know some good spot over in Blythe too, been a while since I fish that water though.

We need monster catfish though!
men and fish are alike. we both get in trouble when we open our mouths.
