SD BASSC CREW- Skiff-N
#1
Had planned on working a trip on the sea watch staurday morning for a half day, but since 3 people showed up to the dock, captain Chris Karpow, and deckhands Chris Olsen, and Colin Masters and myself were on the hunt for some spotted bay bass. We get a skiff at 7 and with we go to my first spot and first cast I get a small on on a swimbait, then on his first 2 casts colin gets 2 spotties. 3 casts 3 bass pretty good start. We picked around at this spot for 3 passes and left with 8 bass. The went to spot #2 and this spot has been HOT for me from shore and boat past 2 weeks. We pull up to it and see Afran and Lopaka from WAR fishing our same spot. We come in and start immedialty catching bass, and watching them get one on every cast if not every 2nd or 3rd cast. We ended and caught 20 bass here before afran worked ahead of us so we moved on. Hit up spot #3 for a few more bass (which bit the Thunder Blade)

Didn't take many pics because no one was really into the whole picture thing so I didn't worry about it, talked to afran at dana later that afternoon and they had our same sucess with bass on every 1-3 casts. Can't wait to fish the spot again, and hope it stays good. Our final count was me 13, Chris Karpow 11, Colin 6, and Chris Olsen 1. 31 bass total for a morning sesh at mission bay. Incoming tide swing of about 3 feet or so. Not much movement but just enough.

Let God lead the way!
