a conventional build, the reel seat will be about 22-24" so start from the tip top and mark center points at:
Inches from the tip -- 4-1/2, 9-1/2, 15-3/8, 22, 29-13/16, 38-11/16, 48-15/16, 60-11/16, 74-1/8 & 89-3/4
