Just your standard rock fishing at SCI. tried shallows in the morning for exotics for nothing, just some smaller rock fish. Moved to deeper water where we had steady pickings of nicer grade fish. Current was fast though and it was hard to hold bottom with a 2 lb weight. All in all it was a good trip with everyone getting fish. Oat has some pics to post...

2 lbs! Yikes! Nice fishing, jealous over here for sure. Use the Lexas at all?

Yea I use my Lexa SB. That reel is bad ass even for rock fish 300' down. Even Choodak got him self one. You shoud get one too. This guy on the boat was showing off his new Revo Toro. Nice looking reel but too bad it exploded in to huge bird nest as he was reeling in his fish. Free spool button came apart and something broke internally it look like. Glad I got a Daiwa when I saw that.....

glad to hear you guys caught and at least you all got the opp to get fishin on the big lake.
