Out front of Mission bay.

Saw some bird school working on bait right outside Mission bay harbor today. We decided to head out and see what was going on. Missive school of mackerel out there working on bait under diving birds in 75' of water. Our fish finder was lit up on the bottom so we try dropping down a 160g Shimano glow flatfall to get pass the mackerel. It was game on when you get to the bottom. Caught alot of calic and rockfish today biggest bass being 23". Then we ran out of beer so we came back in stock up on more beer then keep fishing in the bay for couple more hours for some good spotted bass action....... not a bad last minute trip, til next time.....
