She said "Who knows ho many so-called sport fishermen are letting fish suffer thoughtlessly?" " If one of our caring volunteers sees a fish flopping on the deck,
for example, under her bill, that will be a punishable offense. As it should be".
Ms. Blootz says " nets will be permissible, but leave the gaffs at home". According
to language in her Cruelty Free Fishing Act, gaffing a fish could lead to confiscation
of an angler's boat and gear.
