MARLIN BABY!! I do apologize for my excitement. Catching a local marlin does not sound good to most guys, but I have a real soft spot for these tough to find and fun to catch fish. Last 3 years we have had zero marlin to speak of. Today there were two marlin caught around the 267/279, right outside of Dana. Kelps are holding. Not all of them of course, but enough to make it worth your while to fish every one.

the 279 is a hot spot now the water is clean and the swell is right the fish are holding.

We need to give it another go!!!! Just this time we'll make sure dumb and dumber have enough beer to avoid an oceanside pit stop LOL
