CoIple buddy of my have been hammering striper at Skinner past couple day. I decided to make a afternoon run to fish from shore and see if I can get one to chew. All I caught was small lmb , fish was too far from shore for me to cast to them. Guys in a boat was doing very well. Today just not my day. Hopefully next time.

Good try buddy, yes you gotta have a boat most of the time or very early morning, i mean grey light before sun up

The good thing that you got out and enjoyed a day by the water and flung some hooks at fish.. catching one would be extra points.. oat's I've been thinking of going to try and catch a flathead at the "spots" but yet to pull the trigger, might go soon.

Go get them Rick, take the jeep because last trip I can't get to alot of spot because read are washed out. Good luck, I may join you next weekend if I can
