Went up camping and fished the lake for about 2 hours missed 3, i am pretty sure blue gils, one may of been a trout.

I love that place. Back in the day we used to catch huge bullfrogs with plastics. We cooked some up and the next morning my buddies face looked like Homer Simpson, Swollen like crazy! The rest of us were fine. Tastse like chicken....Lol

thanks for the report. I went there a couple of months back and did fairly well on green pb and woolly buggers behind a bubble. havent done it yet but i hear trolling is pretty good there. my grandpa has a cabin in idyllwild me and the wife stay out and we'll be going more so now that i'm all set up with trolling gear and lead line i'll be hitting it up. beautiful scenery in the mountains. good structure on the side opposite of the inlet.
