Well my friend Nathen and I pinheaded on the fisherman III. I got down there around 10ish and started fishing. Well second cast I made I hooked up with a nice little spotty on the spinnerbait.
Then I was fishing some pillars and got alot of missed bites. After that I made a cast into this empty slip which normally does me good on sandies. I was slow rolling it on the bottom and half way off the bottom I get smalled. It was taking drag and everything then it popped off. Damn. I didnt check for any knicks in my line or anything and I made a cast, got bit, set the hook, and snapped off. Damn. So I tied on a strike king spinner bait. Honestly, Strike king spinner baits SUCK. I would strongly reccomend you not to get them... Sorry if this affends you its just my honest opinion. The blades would wrap around the hook and stuff like that. I made one cast and I got lucky and it was swimming good. Well I was just slow rolling it on the bottom and hook up #2. The fish really hit these. Im starting to like these spinnerbaits
Then Nathen and I went on the fisherman III. It was charted by a school to take some 4th graders out. I wish my school would do that haha. Well we had super nice weather today unlike sunday but the fish just didnt want to bite today. I pulled out prolly the big fish of the day on a T&C Ivory color. After we came back from the dock and cleaned the boat Everyone was just messing around throwing the iron on Nathans jig stick. Well Nick broke it in and caught a barracuda haha. And then I fished around there for something to SNAP my crankbait in half on the bottom. Boy I was super pissed off pulling up half a crankbait. I then tied on a 3 inch big hammer and had a cuda bit the tail off and then I went home. I enjoyed working on the fisherman III. Its one awesome boat to go on.
I really enjoyed pin heading on that boat and I look forward to working on the boat more.
