Family fishing day.

Took my family down to IV today to see if we can catch some fish. My buddy Rick "IVfishing" fish with us the first part of our trip. Was great fishing with you again Rick, hope we can do it again soon. Anyways on to the fishing. Bite was slow on the flathead today but the striper bass make up for it. I just can't seem to get away from them thing....lol

My son pull in this 14 lber. 1st fish for today it very skinny, should of weight more if it was more healthy. Must just got done spawning.



My daughter reel in this 10 lber shortly after.



Flathead bite was slow so we made a move and got in to some good striper action. All fish are 10" - 15". We all caught plenty of stripers.









PSI lure caught plenty of stripers today.



And of course got bunch of little bass, all release.



Some nice big bluegill to keep every one busy.



Channel catfish are on the chew also. Most are 1 - 3 lb fish



These are what we ended up keeping. Release a whole bunch more.



Best part of catching fish. A nice tempura fry fish dinner.....yummyyyyyy




Pretty good day today. Great fishing, every one had a blast, super yummy fish fry dinner. Too bad it was nasty hot and sticky out there. Hope ya'll enjoy the report. Have a fantastic weekend.....

that is so cool, nice work and people wonder why i want kids. that is just awesome family time right there.

Yes kids are fun Mikey. Don't wait too long though his, won't be fun trying to raise a teenager when you retire......haha. It was so cool watching them pull in the stripers, it was wfo for about 5 minutes. I was hooking, unhooking, rebating hook as fast as I can. It was so much fun.

Round 2


I did an afternoon run with the family again today hoping to get in to the hot striper bite again. But only manage 3 striper 14" each. Seem like they move on. Some super size bluegill took over the area thought. The kids had a blast catching gills up to almost 2 lbs.

dang man, those are some toads, again so awesome to see the kids with smiles and good old family fun. you get #1 dad and as always the fish master.
