Fish Castaic Lake for the first time Saturday. Man that was a long run from my house, a 3hr tow. We got on the water at 2:30 and meter around main lake point and steep drop off. Don't meter much of anything, but did manage to pick up a fish here and there on my OT shrimp flies. About 6:30 we starting to head back to the ramp due to 7:15 closing time. We came across a massive school and it was game on. Got our limit real quick. Then Saturday I fish some golf course with my buddy and ended up with few DD channel catfish and couple largies. All on top water lunker punker and swimbait. Goodtimes....
