The bluefin are going wide open and I got a chance Wednesday to do some work and fish and a 1.5 day trip. We departed at 9 and got to fishing around 6 am and one bait first cast first stop first line in the water BOOOM I smack one 15 lb bluefin on the deck and wake everyone to get fishing. After that I get to work from 6:15-5pm and the my next task was to get one of the lady angler on a bluefin. I grab a 50lb test 2 speed reel and get her on a nice 40+ lb bluefin and I finally get a chance to catch another but I did not get a bite for 2 hours and everyone was getting bit next to me. Finally right before we leave I hook on a nice hard fighting bluefin and and slap him on the deck before we left. Another nice day on the water!!!
