Time > 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. Check in will be from 3:30 a.m. – 5 a.m. with a captains meeting at 5:15

Mercury Marine is providing a minimum of $2,000.00 straight toward the pot, a Motorguide Great White Trolling Motor of your choice to one lucky team by raffle, needed money for catered food, permit, insurance, award trophies and the SBS’s expenses to run the event (the SBS is …making NO MONEY on this)…..so well over $3,000.00 cash from Mercury!

There will be a $50 per two man team charge (paid back 100%) added to the $2,000.00 from Mercury.
50 teams entry > $2,500.00 plus $2,000.00 Mercury money is $4,500.00 paid to the top 5 spots along with 1st and 2nd Big fish.
Here’s how the payout will go……

1st > $1,500.00
2nd > $750.00
3rd > $600.00
4th > $500.00
5th > $400.00
1st Big Fish > $500.00
2nd Big Fish > $250.00

This is a 180% payout on top of the Trolling Motor, food, award trophies and sponsor product!

All SBS rules apply

All 3 species of bass will count

This will be a 5 fish 14 inch limit

Calicos and Sandbass can be combined

Spotted Bay Bass weights will be DOUBLED if weighed without Calicos or Sandbass

A boat inspection must take place BEFORE you launch

This will be a shotgun start at the mouth of the Alamitos Bay entrance with the field split into 2-25 boat starts. Boats 1-25 will stage up and be released, boats 26-50 will go next

The first 25 teams signed up will go out first

You must be within the bridge and launch ramp area by 3 p.m. or you will be DQ’d

If you weigh a short fish, or are found or cited in an off limits area, you will be DQ’d

There are no boundaries but you must adhere to all public off limit areas. All Islands are open to fish if desired



There will be a mandatory pre-registration 2 weeks prior or anytime before the event.
