Well besides great fishing at Panguitch lake, it was great seeing some family. Now remember that sometimes in life family isnt blood related.
Anyways, Jeremy and hus family came up from California and we hung out, fished and BBQ "ed. Last week we where talking and he asked what to fish with, i gave him my advice. We drove up and on the way i get a message, no if you know small town living and utahsundays things are closed. Hey can you grab a few limes, haha we did it. Thank you Brianhead little market. Now we get to the lake and gey seytled and start fishing. First cast guy next ro us says nothing over there, i reel in a 2 lb rainbow. We moved over where he was and kids had a blast. Jeremy's kids caught a few and my little mikey jr. Caught a 3 lb rainbow, fish went crazy when it hit. Jeremy's grand daughter got a very nice cut throat which we released.
Now let go BBQ, first charcoal will not stay lit. Ok got that going and hot, kind of. Haha. We get the food cooking slowly and almost to the finish line and here comes the monsoon with hail. Quickly grab some foil and make a shield. Jeremy said inside skillet and stove lets eat.
All in all just some good fun and time needed with family. Wish the kids could have caught more fish, next time we will.
