AWESOME Big mean bluefin tuna

Went out on the Chief yesterday to try my luck in the galley to see if I like it. Had a pretty fun day cooking for all the passengers. Definitely different cooking from the boat then on land. Stuff was flying everywhere....haha. The fishing was pretty good too. I think we hook close to 40 fish to get our 7 fish. They were all big mean bluefin that bit good on 40-60lb line. Getting one to the boat is not easy I smoke twice on a Penn Phantom 40 2 speed with over 500 yards of line. Water was clear blue 67°-68°.All and all was a pretty fun day out there. looks like you all got schooled by those fish. good time though and yes a little different on a boat cooking.
