I just put a 2" leveling kit on my 1999 f150 2wd. I also put new shocks, because I was told stock shocks will work...that's what I bought, but now it rides like a bucking horse on a bumpy road. anyone know of shocks that are just a bit longer that will work on my truck. I don't want to have to spend $200 a set for shocks meant for a lift.....yeah, im cheap...so what!

i think you need 2 inch longer shocks, as those will hyper extend and rip the top out sooner than later
if i remember right!

yeah, but to go a cheaper way, lol, I found some shock extenders. The shocks for my truck are the ones that have the thread that stick up like a bolt...these screw over that and are 2" longer.....$7.99 buddy!!! lol, I don't do any real off-roading.....just a little here and there when I go fishing, so im gonna see how these hold up.
