mono and braid are two different animals, then toss in the hi-bred stuff and fluorocarbon, wow its insane.
-Mono you get the flex and stretch, different colors for preference and conditions.
-Braid you get your choice of dark colors but strength that is dia. of 10lb test but it 30 lb strength. there is awesome flex but no stretch to it.
-Hi-Bred line costly strong and a fit between the 2 above from my understanding, cant say much except it is costly as all get out.
-Fluorocarbon line more dense cost a little bit more and becomes almost invisible, the abrasion factor is better than the old stuff.
